Basic Design - Exercise 7

                  In this assignment, I created 2 different groups. 

                  The first one:

                  3 squares, 2 rectangles and 1 triangle

                  This group is used 5 times. Dimensions of the triangles and squares are equal to each         other  and the short edge of the rectangles in each group. The biggest group of the first, which has a    triangle with a side of 15 cm, is located at centre. The dimensions of the triangles in other groups are 10, 7.5 and 5 cm.

                                                                                                    

                  The second group:
                  3 rectangles and 2 triangles
    This group is used three times. Long edges of three rectangles are equal to the side of the triangles. The dimensions of the triangles are 15, 12.5 and 7.5 cm.

The central group has an importance of making connection with each group. Connected groups are in sequence according to dimensions (gradual) and arranged in such a way that they can display contrast in the design, which keeps physical and visual balance. This organization creates hierarchy.
